Water Level Details
GOOD. Water stained; 60 degrees; 0.71 feet above pool. Bass fishing is good overall. Water is very dirty and stained. Using black and blue, straight white, or other bold colors has been productive. Expect more bass on beds once water conditions stabilize. Transition to more natural colored baits as visibility improves. Isolated patches of grass can be fished with a Texas rigged soft plastic, Tokyo rig, or a hollow body frog. Chatterbaits, soft jerkbaits, and spinnerbaits are good around cover that are near spawning areas. Report by Blake Doughtie, Lake Country Lunkers Lures and Guide Service. Black bass are shallow in creeks and shallow banks. Fly fishing with craws and clouser minnow patterns should produce bass. Crappie and catfish are moving shallow fly fishing with wooly buggers, slow-sinking small fish patterns, or clouser minnows on sunny rocky shores might draw a strike. Report by Guide Alex Guthrie, Fly Fish Fork Guide Service.
